This Profigold USB3.3 Gen 1 adapter can be used to make an USB-A port accessible to an USB-C™ connector. Computers and laptops are often equipped with USB-A ports. However new devices such as tablets and smartphones are often equipped with USB-C™ connectors. With USB-C™ it is possible to exchange files at high speeds, and the connector is also more compact.
